We ship Monday through Thursday with a 1:00 PM ET Order Cutoff, and Every Order is Automatically Upgraded to FedEx 2Day at No Charge. Orders placed before the cutoff ship the Same Day. Orders placed Friday through Sunday are held in a Commercial Refrigerator and ship Monday morning.
Our Summer Shipping Schedule
During the summer months we ship Monday through Thursday only. This is deliberate. A package that ships Friday would sit in a transit facility through the weekend, and that is the one scenario our packaging cannot control for.
- Order Cutoff — 1:00 PM Eastern Time
- Same-Day Shipping — Orders placed Monday through Thursday before the cutoff ship that same day
- Thursday Orders — Deliver Saturday
- Weekend Orders — Held in a Commercial Refrigerator at 34°F and shipped by 10:30 AM ET Monday
Quick Reference
| Order Placed | Ships | Typical Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Monday before 1:00 PM ET | Monday | Wednesday |
| Tuesday before 1:00 PM ET | Tuesday | Thursday |
| Wednesday before 1:00 PM ET | Wednesday | Friday |
| Thursday before 1:00 PM ET | Thursday | Saturday |
| Friday, Saturday, or Sunday | Monday by 10:30 AM ET | Wednesday |
West Coast destinations may add one business day. See Transit Times below.
What Happens Between Your Order and FedEx Pickup
Your order never sits at room temperature waiting to be collected. The chain is continuous:
- Commercial Freezer — Where inventory is held
- Commercial Refrigerator — Where your packed order waits
- Scheduled FedEx Pickup — Straight from refrigeration into transit
Weekend Orders
Orders placed after the Thursday cutoff are packed and held in a Commercial Refrigerator at 34°F through the weekend, then shipped by 10:30 AM ET Monday morning. Nothing is left in a transit facility over a weekend.
Transit Times
Every order is automatically upgraded to FedEx 2Day at no additional charge unless you have expressly requested otherwise.
- FedEx Service Level — Two Business Days
- East to West Coast — Occasionally arrives on the third business day
- Business Days — Do not include Sundays
Tracking Your Order
Tracking emails are sent automatically once your label is generated. You can also look up your order at any time:
Order Lookup — track.luvionbio.com
Search using any one of the following:
- Order Number
- Tracking Number
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Postal Code
If tracking has not updated within a few hours of shipment, that is normal. Scans populate once the package reaches the first FedEx sorting facility.
Holidays and Extreme Weather
We work most Federal Holidays and our Service Level Agreement remains in place regardless of current events. In a small number of cases we will halt shipments on a case-by-case basis:
- Extreme Heat Events — Where forecast conditions along the route exceed what our packaging is built for
- Major Holidays — Christmas, New Year's, July Fourth, and other critical American holidays where carrier networks slow significantly
Before You Order
Two things that prevent the majority of shipping delays:
- Verify Your Shipping Address — An address correction mid-transit adds at least one business day and takes the package outside our scheduled routing
- Plan for Delivery — Arrange for the package to be brought inside promptly, especially in summer. Our packaging controls transit conditions, not a full day on a doorstep
When to Contact Us
- Your order has not shipped within one business day of the cutoff
- Tracking has not updated for more than 48 hours after shipment
- FedEx shows a delivery exception or address issue
- You need to correct a shipping address on an order that has not yet shipped
Email info@luvionbio.com with your Order Number. If your package has already shipped, include the Tracking Number as well.
